There is one more workshop being held in advance of the Design Challenge. Upcoming Workshop: - Workshop 3 (Register now): Adoption of New Wood Heater Technology and Integration with Other Renewables; April 26–27, 2022
The Design Challenge will consist of a “Technology Slam” in fall of 2022 where participants present their intended design, followed by the Stove Competition in winter of 2023. With an estimated 12.5 million homes in the United States using wood or pellets for space heating, this challenge stands to develop the most innovative wood heaters that are cleaner and more efficient to create a significant impact on the environmental footprint of domestic heating.
