The American-Made Challenges Program Needs Your Help to Expand Its Impact and Reach!
American-Made Challenges (AMC), a program funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and administered by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, is looking for new contributors!
Through its competitive prizes, AMC encourages innovators to create and deploy innovative solutions to advance U.S. leadership in energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.
The AMC program is run through a collaboration of numerous national labs and industry experts who provide training, mentoring, and more to ensure teams are reaching their goals. The AMC program has grown significantly to include representation from more than 10 offices within DOE, including the Geothermal Technologies Office, in 25 challenges with more than $100M in cash prizes.
Now, we’re looking to expand and bring on new experts to assist and support incoming teams. Applicants should be able to help supplement existing assets and tools that the American-Made Networks have built while providing mentorship and training to new competitors.
Applicants will join the AMC program as “Education Partners” or “Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Power Connectors” to encourage and expand the program’s successes. Education Partners will enable education and training programs through partnership, while Power Connectors will be involved with prize program execution, recruitment, and overall support.
We are seeking individuals or organizations with innovative and creative ideas to enhance the overall AMC strategy by directly supporting the competing teams with workforce development, upskilling, networking, training, and more.
