How Can DOE’s Office of Indian Energy Help Tribes Benefit from the Energy Transition?


The 2022 Tribal Energy Webinar Series Kicks Off April 13 with Answers

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Indian Energy Policy and Programs is pleased to roll out our 2022 Tribal Energy Webinar Series this Wednesday, April 13. Developed for tribal leaders, tribal staff, and others leading tribal energy planning and development efforts, the 2022 series will focus on “Empowering Native Communities and Sustaining Future Generations.” 

The webinars will take place on the first Wednesday of each month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mountain Time. Each will explore how tribes can participate in the energy transition for the benefit of their communities now and in the future—starting with how the Office of Indian Energy can help.

The series will kick off Wednesday with an overview of the Office of Indian Energy Policy and Programs and answers to frequently asked questions about how we work with tribal communities to help advance their priorities and goals. Join us from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mountain Time for “Office of Indian Energy Policy and ProgramsHow Can We Help?

The Office of Indian Energy is growing and evolving. This webinar will introduce (or reintroduce) the Office and its leadership and share information on offerings, opportunities, and the wealth of informational resources available on our website. The webinar is also intended to begin a dialogue as we want to hear from you and to take this opportunity to answer your questions.
