We Need Your Input To Amplify Your Issues—Join our November 4th Listening Session on Energy Access and Reliability on Tribal Lands Today!

Office of Indian Energy Pilot Session-small

The Energy Act of 2020 included specific requirements for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to conduct research and report back to Congress on energy access and reliability on tribal lands.

Please join the DOE Office of Indian Energy for a virtual listening session this Thursday, Nov. 4, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Mountain Time (3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time) to help us develop a report that reflects the tribal perspective.

To deliver a thorough and substantive report to Congress, we need to gather insights directly from tribal leaders and staff on the status of unelectrified homes and electricity reliability issues in tribal communities.

Your participation is critically important to help us amplify the voices and address the issues of Native Nations. Register today to secure your spot!

Please note: This listening session has a participant capacity limit. Tribal leaders and staff will be given priority to attend if the limit is reached. A recording of the listening session will be available online following the event.

For more information, visit our Energy Access and Reliability on Tribal Lands Listening Session web page. Please submit any questions to IndianEnergy@hq.doe.gov.
