DOE Publishes a Notice of Final Rule Pertaining to the Test Procedure Interim Waiver Process

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has publishedFederal Register notice revising DOE’s test procedure interim waiver process. The revisions address areas of the test procedure interim waiver process regulations that may result in alternate test procedures that are inconsistent with the purpose and requirements of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, and that otherwise appear not to effectuate the statute properly.

  • This rule is effective February 14, 2022.
  • Additional information on waivers can be found on DOE’s waiver website.
