Oct. 28, 2021
The Energy Act of 2020 included specific requirements for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to conduct research and report back to Congress on energy access and reliability on tribal lands.
To ensure that our report reflects the tribal perspective, the DOE Office of Indian Energy is holding a virtual listening session to gather insights directly from tribal leaders and staff.
Please join us on Thursday, Nov. 4, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Mountain Time (3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time).
Your participation is critically important to help us develop a thorough and substantive report that highlights your input and addresses your issues.
For more information, visit our Energy Access and Reliability on Tribal Lands Listening Session web page. Please submit any questions to IndianEnergy@hq.doe.gov.
Please note: This listening session has a participant capacity limit. Tribal leaders and staff will be given priority to attend if the limit is reached. A recording of the listening session will be available online following the event.
